Catriona Peden Architect was formed in September 2010. A small West Lothian based practice it caters for the needs of domestic and commercial clients across Central Scotland.
Our aim is to provide a professional but approachable architectural service, which understands the needs of the individual and their budget. We can take you step by step through all stages of a project, from briefing through Planning and Building Warrant, construction to completion.
An architect's role is to consider all aspects of the design from how material choices affect the appearance to wider environmental issues such as energy efficiency and sustainability matters, whilst still achieving the clients brief. We would bring to your project many years of experience within architecture to fulfil your expectations.
As a smaller practice we can offer competitive fees as we do not have the same overheads as larger practices, whilst still having access to the latest information on Planning, Building Control and contracts.
Catriona Peden has been a qualified Architect since 1996 and was an Associate at Campbell and Arnott Ltd for 8 years. There she was in charge of various projects including new and existing medical centres, housing projects and feasibilty studies one of which was the regeneration of Glencorse Barracks. These projects involved producing designs for the clients, liasing with the various user groups on larger projects, dealing with all the relevant authorities and inspecting the projects on site.
